Authorities say that Jacobs seemed to have committed suicide on Friday in their Nashville home.

Producer Jacobs has collaborated with musicians including Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, Darius Rucker,   Garth Brooks, and Kelly Clarkson..

He was the producer of Lee Brice's "I Drive Your Truck," which earned an Academy of Country Music Award in 2014.

He stated in a post from 2021 that "creating songs with wonderful hearts in beautiful locales" is one of his favourite composing tasks.

Jacobs and Pickler were hitched in 2011. In 2015, they both made an appearance on "I Love Kellie Pickler," a reality series.

 Among many others, he has written songs for Kelly Clarkson, Scotty McCreery, and his wife.

She started her music career in 2006 by placing in the Top 6 of "American Idol" Season 5.

 On New Year's Day, Jacobs and Pickler celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary.

 He celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in 2022 by sharing a touching Instagram message about his wife.
